How we build safely
Building software is quicker than ever. Checking it properly is what keeps your business and your customers safe. This is how we do it on every system we build for a client.
1. Built to your requirements
Before we build anything, we write down what it must do in plain language and agree on it with you. That list becomes the checklist. The system isn’t finished until every item on it works.
2. A person checks everything
We use modern tools, including AI, to build faster. Every change is reviewed, tested and approved by a person before it reaches you. Your data and your customers’ details are never given to an AI tool.
3. Security checked before launch
- Private pages need a login, and the database itself checks who is asking, not just the login screen.
- Each person sees only the records they’re allowed to see.
- Admin screens are locked behind a login and a role check.
- Passwords and keys stay on the server, never in the page.
- Before launch we try to get in as a stranger: logged out, as the wrong user, and with a shared link. Every attempt must be refused.
4. Your data and POPIA
Process Logic has a registered Information Officer. We use only the access a job needs, through our own logins that you add and control, and we remove it when the work is done.
Your data stays yours: when a contract ends, we return or delete it, in writing. Systems we build don’t make decisions about people on their own; a person always has the final say.
5. Looked after after launch
Every client system we launch has error alerts and uptime monitoring, and its backups are set up and a restore tested before it goes live. With a care plan, we keep it updated, checked and fixed every month.
6. If something goes wrong
No one can honestly promise a system will never be attacked. What we promise is this: if we find a problem that affects your data, we tell you within 24 hours, fix the cause, and help you with anything you need to report.
